{Explore} Muir Woods

Muir Woods National Monument

It has been a lovely break with my family... their desire and love for nature matches my own and inspires me! We decided to hop in the car and take a day trip to Muir Woods, just outside of San Francisco. My brother David led the expidition, Dad found a trail to hike, and Mom packed a pic-nic lunch. The towering red wood forrests and green fern-filled floors make it hard to believe this place is so close to home! The biggest treat of the day was chasing the sun and finding an overlook of the bay and the ocean.
